Exclusive Interview with Jennifer Rabun, Field Director Caribbean for Delta

Curaçao recently welcomed Delta Air Lines back after a 13-year hiatus, and we had the opportunity to sit down with Jennifer Rabun, the Field Director for Airport Customer Service in the Caribbean for Delta. Here are some insights from our exclusive interview:

Q: Jennifer, welcome to Curaçao. Can you tell us about your role at Delta?

A: I am the Field Director for Airport Customer Service for the Caribbean. My responsibilities cover the entire Caribbean region where Delta operates.

Q: How would you describe your first impressions of seeing Delta back in Curaçao?

A: On a personal note, I’m from Atlanta, the home base of Delta, and I have been supporting the airline since I was born. It’s truly great to see Delta reconnecting Atlanta to Curaçao. It’s a special moment for me.

Q: What do you envision for the future of Delta here in Curaçao?

A: I believe we have a long future ahead. Although we had a 13-year break from Curaçao, the current demand for travel is significant. Our network teams have been working tirelessly, and Curaçao is the first island in the Caribbean that we have expanded to in several years. We’re excited to be back. Initially, we are starting with one flight per week, but our teams are evaluating additional services. We’ve added some ad hoc services in the coming weeks to meet the holiday travel demand. We will continue to evaluate and hope to maintain a consistent presence here.

Q: Do you foresee more flights in the future?

A: Absolutely. We are actively evaluating additional services, and we’re optimistic about increasing our flight frequency based on the demand and positive response we’ve received.

Q: When can travelers expect more frequent flights?

A: Our teams are working on it, and I’m hopeful that we can offer more frequent flights soon. It’s an exciting time for Delta and Curaçao.
(This interview was conducted prior to Delta’s announcement of their daily flight service commencing on November 23, 2024.)

We express our gratitude to Jennifer Rabun for sharing her insights, and we look forward to witnessing the continued growth and success of Delta Air Lines in Curaçao.
