CUR kicks off FIFA World Cup celebration campaign as Team Curaçao makes history

Curaçao International Airport | CUR is bringing the excitement of Curaçao’s historic first-ever qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026 directly into the terminal with the launch of its new promotional campaign, “Score your CUR World Cup Gear.”

Running from May 11 through July 31, 2026, the campaign invites travelers and visitors to celebrate this proud national milestone while enjoying the chance to instantly win exclusive CUR World Cup merchandise at participating airport locations.

Passengers and visitors making qualifying purchases at participating concession locations at CUR are invited to take part by selecting a colored ball from the Mystery Box for a chance to reveal an instant prize. Campaign prizes include CUR World Cup scarves, hats, soccer balls, vuvuzelas, and sunglasses, and are available through participating concession partners including Juan Valdez Café, E-Marshe Gastro Hall, Wendy’s, Bar 22, Rumbo Caribe Curaçao, Panda Express, Victoria Gelati, Britt Shop Curaçao, and Penha Duty Free.

As the island unites behind Team Curaçao on the road to the FIFA World Cup, CUR is transforming the passenger experience into a celebration of national pride, energy, and football spirit. The campaign captures the excitement of this historic moment in Curaçao’s journey while reinforcing Curaçao International Airport’s commitment to creating memorable and meaningful experiences for every passenger passing through CUR, connecting travelers not only to destinations but also to the spirit and pride of Curaçao. Because at CUR, our people and our island are our pride: CUR, more than a hello and a goodbye.

Travelers are encouraged to look for promotional displays at participating shops and restaurants throughout the terminal for full campaign details and applicable terms and conditions. Terms and conditions apply. More information is available at here.
